MY APPROACH

Recovery begins with understanding the whole person.

I help those with eating disorders achieve recovery through whole-person centered care. I believe that a life of connection, food freedom, and body positivity is possible for everyone.

We all need our people, especially when going through hard times. I specialize in caring for those afflicted by an eating disorder as well as their loved ones.

I enjoy working with those of all ages, with particular interest in college or transitional age individuals. I work with people of all genders, ethnicities and cultural backgrounds. I believe in a health at every size (HAES) philosophy.

After nearly a decade working in higher levels of care, I pride myself in my ability to navigate the landscape of care and love to be an advocate for those needing to step up to more intensive treatment as well as a landing place for those stepping down from a higher level of care.

I enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team with therapists, dieticians, and primary care providers. I believe the best outcomes come from a team of likeminded individuals working as a team to help advance toward recovery. I have served as a team leader throughout my career and I love taking the lead when appropriate.

While I believe that medications can be really helpful, I also see my role as more than just a prescriber. I welcome the opportunity to provide guidance, holistic care and collaboration to improve general mental health.

I aim to deeply understand, connect and advocate for those I care for. I would love to connect and share more about my philosophy.
